The Dallas Sidekicks’ 2019-2020 campaign is officially underway, though not how the team would have liked.
In the first meeting between the Dallas Sidekicks and the expansion Mesquite Outlaws, it was the newcomers who had the experience and depth, out pacing the Sidekicks in multiple phases of the game.
The cliché is supposed to go, “There is a new sheriff in town,” but on Saturday, it will be a new team with a number of familiar faces that is in town as the Mesquite Outlaws play their home opener, against the Dallas Sidekicks of all teams.
Former FC Dallas midfielder and Honduran International Ramon Núñez has signed with the Mesquite Outlaws.

It’s once again time to head indoors for the winter, with the Dallas Sidekicks set to return for their fifth season in the Major Arena Soccer League. This time they’ll have a new local rival in the Mesquite Outlaws, and will play in a consolidated and expanded 8-team Western Conference.
