As reported by 3rd Degere on April 3rd, North Texas SC announced today it has signed FC Dallas Academy forward Samuel Sedeh to an MLS NEXT Pro contract through the 2026 season. According to our sources, this is a hybrid deal that will elevate to Homegrown down the line.
“Sam is an exciting young talent that loves to attack. He’s vertical in his approach to the game, that is refreshing to see,” North Texas SC head coach John Gall said. “He’s confident and plays the game with a smile on his face. We are delighted to have him with us to further develop his talent.”
Sedeh joined the U16 FC Dallas Academy for the 2024-25 season from BVB International Academy (Dallas), where his father is a coach. In 2023, Sedeh scored 142 goals and 92 assists in 74 games.
The McKinney, Texas native took part in the start of FC Dallas preseason training camp in January. He was called into the US U16 Youth Men’s National Team camp in February of 2025.
3rd Degree’s Take
Fantastic signing. I rate Sedeh – a striker or wing – as the best talent Dallas has signed from its Academy since Ricardo Pepi. Note the age, at 15, Sedeh joined FCD’s U16 and within a month was moved up to U18 starter and got invited to first team camp this spring. He performed so well that he almost got taken to Portugal with the club.
I had him on my winter signing target list, and he would have jumped to #1 on that list this summer had this deal not gotten done now.
