USL Dallas partners with Renegades Soccer Club for youth club program

As first reported by 3rd Degree, USL Dallas has announced a partnership with Renegades SC to form the youth club arm of the USL side. The club says the goal is to have over 2,500 youth players in a ‘pathway to pro’ to enhance their development and opportunities in soccer.

“Partnering with USL Dallas enhances our commitment to developing players and offers them unparalleled opportunities to advance in their soccer careers,” said Stephen Barton, owner of Soccer Spectrum and Renegades Soccer Club.

Founded in 2018, Renegades has over 150 teams in various age groups and operates mainly out of the Soccer Spectrum in Richardson.

“I know first-hand how important it is to inspire young athletes and give them hope for the future,” said Matt Valentine, Founder and Chairman of USL Dallas. “This collaboration with Renegades Soccer Club represents a significant step in nurturing local talent and providing a comprehensive development pathway for young soccer players in our community.”

According to the PR materials, USL Dallas is in the process of designing and building a ‘state-of-the-art’ training facility that will have fields available for the youth club.

USL Dallas is holding a Forum on Thursday, April 17, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Soccer Spectrum in Richardson. Fans can hear from USL Dallas founders Matt Valentine and Sam Morton at the event.

USL Dallas is also holding a brand reveal celebration on Friday, May 2, at 7:00 p.m. in downtown Garland, during the Music Made Here concert featuring La Nueva Estrategia and Grupo los de Chiwas.
