According to FC Dallas Digital Content Manager Garrett Melcer (on twitter), FC Dallas left back Marco Farfan will be out two months after undergoing fasciotomy surgery on both legs to correct a chronic issue. Melcer says Farfan has been struggling with the issue since last season.
Fasciotomy surgery is used to correct muscle compartment issues and relieve pressure. This is the same procedure Pedrinho had last year and Brandon Servania had in 2018.

This news makes it much more likely Nolan Norris‘ start at left back against Sporting KC was more in the nature of a test than just rest for Farfan.
Thankfully, Norris “passed” and can afford Farfan taking some time off.
