As we continue with the FCD Academy sides, we skip over the U16s, who are heading to the GA Cup, and continue with the U15s.
FC Dallas U15s – 2010s
Head Coach: Chuy Vera
This group is a single class containing all 2010s. There’s a lot of talent here. Those we find the most intriguing today may not be the most intriguing in 3 years.
The Buzz List
Here are some players I find interesting in this group. (In alphabetical order)
Xavier Gomez – An above-average Academy 9 that plays well in combination. Lots of Mexico call-ups.
Christian Guillén – Has the physical qualities and profile for the pro game. Lanky height and moves well. Good passing vision, feet, and solid defense. How will he mature?
Tamba Hallie II – A dynamic attacker with a complete game. One of the most impressive kids I’ve seen at U14 level. Knocked my socks off at the first viewing at Dallas Cup.
Justus Jones – He’s tiny, but he’s a vocal leader and dynamic player. Dribbles, combines, and overlaps out of the back with tenacious intensity. He’s fantastic but he’s getting to the age that size is really going to be a mismatch.
Alex Soria – A Terrific all-around mid from my personal viewing. Good range, feet, and above-average passing.
FC Dallas U15 Roster for 2025 Dallas Cup
This roster is not locked and is obtained from the Dallas Cup.
Please remember these rosters are subject to change. They can, and do, change!
FCD could change the assignments.
This group should be numbered 31 and up… but more and more, the Academy number banding seems to be falling by the wayside.

Not to say he’s better than the other kids you highlighted, but Caiafa has grown on me. Like Soria, he’s a December birthday kid and he strikes the ball really well. Productive. I was worried with Gallardo leaving and Caiafa has basically quelled all those concerns (different types of strikers, but still).
I’ve only seen Caiafa one time so far. I will keep an eye out for him.
