Edit (10:56 am): We have now had it confirmed via text message directly from Daniel Hernandez himself.
According to multiple sources, FC Dallas has fired former captain and new assistant coach Daniel Hernandez three weeks after he was elevated to a full-time coach role. There have been little warning signs of a problem with Hernandez and this moves comes as a total surprise especially given the time frame and his relationship with Schellas Hyndman.
We have no information at this time as to why Hernandez was let go, and we are reaching out to the club and Hernandez for reaction.
