FC Dallas has announced the elevation of center back Kaka Scabin from the MLS Next Pro part to a Homegrown contract. Scabin is on a “hybrid” deal and will likely stay “off-roster’ and play most of 2026 with North Texas SC.
The 19-year-old from Sao Paulo joined the FCD Academy from Inter Miami’s Academy. Scabin has played 1 game for North Texas SC and missed all of 2025 with an ACL injury, but has returned to training.
