North Texas Soccer Club’s Ronaldo Damus, the leading scorer in USL League One with 16 goals, has been named to the senior Haitian National Team for their upcoming Concacaf Nations League game.

Damus, who scored recently for the Haitian U23 team against Barbados, is listed in the 20 man roster for two upcoming matches during the international window.

Haiti is scheduled to face Costa Rica on October 10th in a Concacaf Nations League game and then Bolivia on October 15th in a friendly.

Given the second of those two games is a friendly, it’s likely Damus will be released back to North Texas for their playoff game on October 12th.

Certainly this call up helps explain North Texas resting Damus in their final regular-season game at FC Tucson on Friday night.
