Seven FC Dallas Academy players named to US U15 team

Seven members of the FC Dallas Academy U15 team have been named to the US U15 team for a tournament in PolandPranav DuBroffVictor GomezDiego HernandezJordan JonesKevin KelleyNolan Norris, and Anthony Ramirez.

All 20 players in camp are 2005s and all seven of the FC Dallas players come from the FCD side that recently won the Bayern Munich Campus Tournament that featured Bayern Munich, FC Dallas, Juventus, Hamberg SV, Benfica, FC Basel, and the China Football School.

Steve Klein, Academy Director at Development Academy club PA Classics, will serve as the U-15 BNT’s head coach for the camp. The US will face Iceland on October 21st at the Stadium Sztum in Sztum, Poland; then face Poland on October 23rd and Russia on October 25th both at the Stadium Malbork in Malbork, Poland.

There are so many talented players with the FCD U15s that they use a large amount of squad rotation. Here are some season 2019-20 numbers.

Kevin Kelley, a striker new to the Academy this year, has made two starts in four games scoring two goals.

Anthony Ramirez, one of the best dribblers in the side, has started three games out of five this season with 1 goal.

Diego Hernandez, an attacking midfield talent, has made four starts out of 5 games with three goals to his name.

Two-way midfielder Jordan Jones has two starts in five appearances with 1 goal.

Highly talented Left back Nolan Norris is one of two players to start all five games this season. The other being center back Adrian Anguiano.

Pranav DuBroff, normally the other starting center back, has started four of five.
