FCD’s Seth Wilson Along With Solar SC’s Bailey Sparks and Josh Ramsey Called into US U17 Camp; Eric Quill Named Assistant Coach

The US U17 team is moving into its next cycle having just crashed out of the U17 World Cup. US Soccer has released the roster for the November Nike Friendlies being held at the Premier Sports Campus in Bradenton, Florida.

FC Dallas U19 goalkeeper Seth Wilson has been called into the camp along with two Solar SC players, Josh Ramsey and Bailey Sparks.

North Texas SC Head Coach Eric Quill is named on the roster as an assistant coach for this US U17 side. Junior Gonzalez is listed as the head coach on the sheet we obtained, rather than Raphael Wicky who just led the 17s at the World Cup.

One other local name of note: former Solar SC player and current Norwich City defender Jonathan Tomkinson is also in the team,

This new U17 side is set to play three games during the camp. They will face off against Turkey on November 14th, a US U16 side on November 16th, and the Netherlands on November 18th. All three games are scheduled for 5:30 pm CT.

The U.S. U-17 squad is made up of 2002-birth year players who did not represent the USA at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil. The other three teams will feature players born on or after Jan. 1, 2003.
