FC Dallas at Atlanta United – game info and lineup prediction

“Well, the Devil went down to Georgia. He was lookin’ for a [game] to steal.”

Big FC Dallas Fan Charlie Daniels, probably.

7th in the West FC Dallas (10 points, 3-2-1) travels to Georgia to take on 11th in the East Atlanta United (8 points, 2-2-2) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, kickoff at 6:30 pm CT.

The two teams are separated by very little in the table, just two points – one win converted to a tie. Atlanta’s defense is two goals worse than Dallas’ and its offense is one goal better.

Could be a fun matchup.

FCD Lineup Prediction

With Marco Farfan out for a couple of months, left back belongs to Nolan Norris for a bit.

With two straight wins, there might not be any changes. Anderson Julio got back late last week with his green card, and given Leo Chu‘s somewhat mediocre play, despite the goal, I’ll predict Julio back in.

And as much as I want to see Show Cafumana, I’m beginning to think he must not yet be fit enough to start. Hopefully he can get some bench PT soon.
