SMU Advances to NCAA Round of 16 with McLaughlin Golden Goal

SMU’s 2019 talisman Garrett McLaughlin has done it again, this time scoring the Golden Goal in the NCAA tournament against Coastal Carolina as SMU advanced to the Round of 16.

After a 0-0 regulation game and one scoreless period, McLaughlin grabbed the winner on a rebound in the 108th-minute of play.

With the win, SMU now faces American Athletic Conference rival UCF in a rematch of the AAC Championship SMU won back on November 16th.
