Lost in the fine print of the 2019 MLS Executive Awards was the fact that FC Dallas was named MLS Academy of the Year.
The award is well deserved for the Academy in MLS that is consistently producing high-level players for it’s MLS side, loading North Texas SC with about half it’s players, and still producing consistently winning Development Academy Teams.
Just this week, the FCD U19s advanced to the DA Spring Cup. Earlier this spring, the FCD U15s won the Bayern Munich Campus Tournament. Not to mention the multitude of players called into US Youth National Teams as well as other countries.
