Given all the missing pieces, I feel FCD played well, in their way. Yes, it feels like FCD may break the record for ties this year. It ain’t pretty.

12th in the West FC Dallas (3-6-2, 11 points) travels south to face 8th in the West Houston Dynamo (5-5-2, 17 points) in a Texas Derby match.

13th in the West FC Dallas (5 points, 1-5-2 record) hosts 6th in the West Houston Dynamo (13 points, 4-3-1 record) at Toyota Stadium, kickoff is at 7:30 pm.

Speaking of breakdowns (hAHa!), this game certainly ended with one. Dropping points at home to your worst enemy isn’t good, even if the club did get seven points this week.

FC Dallas looked pretty good for the bulk of the game but fell apart late against the hated Dynamo. Matt Visinsky brought us some excellent photos anyway.

FC Dallas controlled much of the season’s first Texas Derby, but a late equalizer by Thor Ulfarsson prevented the Hoops from going perfect through their three games in eight days.
