Republic of Texas Team (1999 version)

As a hypothetical exercise: what if there was a US States Cup similar to the World Cup?

Rules:  Must be born in the state of Texas to be eligible for the Republic of Texas Team.  We could say official residents but that only takes 3 years to get, so birth seems to be better. Possibly College attendance could make a player eligible, but probably not.

Sure California would be great, but I think Texas can compete with them and the other possibly strong teams…
