FC Dallas U14s win Copa Rayados

The FC Dallas U14s have won the 2019 Copa Rayados Internacional U14 SuperGroup by a 3-0 scoreline over Sporting KC on Sunday. This was the second straight Copa Rayados title for this team as they won the 2013 tournament last year.

Kristian Kelley scored a brace in the final for FCD with Nayrobi Vargas adding the third.

While there aren’t a lot of details available on the whole tournament yet, FC Dallas did keep clean sheets in all six of their games. The boys from Dallas posted five wins and one tie: Mineros (4-0), Queretaro (3-0), Austin FC (0-0, the lone tie), Columbus Crew (8-0), Xolos (4-0, semifinal), and Sporting KC (3-0, final). FCD finished atop Bracket C with a +15 goal differential.
