According to a report in Argentina, FC Dallas is close to signing former Argentina U21 left back/midfielder Marcos Charras on a loan deal. 3rd Degree has verified with a source familiar with the situation that Marcos Charras is indeed the name of the previously unidentified Argentine player.
Coach Colin Clarke had previously told 3rd Degree that the only thing holding up the deal was the youth international claim release from his two clubs, CSKA of Bulgaria and Quilmes of Argentina. That release would allow FCD to buy Charras at a later date without having to compensate the two former clubs.
