3rd Degree’s Take

None of these moves should come as a surprise to the observant fan as the writing has been on the wall for these players for some time.

Cristian Colman, torn knee aside, has never scored in Dallas at a rate to validate his contract. It’s a no brainer his potion wasn’t exercised.

Edwin Gyasi’s fate was sealed during the Orlando City game. I’ve been saying for a little while he wouldn’t play for FCD again.

Moises Hernandez has effectively been on loan to San Antion FC for two seasons now. It seems likely he will end up there again.

Eric Alexander is out of contract, which doesn’t preclude his return to FCD is he clears the MLS re-entry process. But given the club’s drive for youth progression, it seems somewhat unlikely.
