FC Dallas U19 winger Beni Redzic was named to the USL-1 Team of the Week – Week 4 for his two-goal performance off the bench for North Texas SC against Chattanooga Red Wolves.
A halftime sub, Redzic scored 2 goals, went 15 for 17 in passing, and created two chances the 2-2 draw.
I know it is extremely early, but do you see Redzic as a guy who could have a Tanner Tessman-like rise this season? Watching the first couple NTSC matches, I like Redzic’s aggresiveness and energy.
He’s struggled to be consistent in the Academy, coasts a bit. He’s clearly turned it up. He needs to maintain it over the course of the season. I also have pace question, MLS is really fast, and there have been some maturity issues. BUT he’s certainly got talent. Overall, I’m not convinced yet.
